Arup Das

Arup Das (1936–1994) was an Indian painter associated with the Bengal school tradition. He worked primarily in oils and watercolour, developing a figurative practice rooted in the human figure and landscape.

Privatkunst.ch grew from a personal interest in works that carry a history. There is always more behind a work of art than first appears — and most stories are not yet fully told.
